What to Wear to Friendsgiving

Friendsgiving is a tradition at The Kitchen.  Every year we invite some of Food Network friends to join us and bring their favorite recipes. This year, Ted Allen, Christian Petroni, and Martina McBride came for dinner.  Ted made a delicious cranberry sauce, Christian fried up some Brussels sprouts and Martina made an apple cake that I will for sure be adding to my repertoire.

I have a Friendsgiving at my house just about every year as well.  If not before turkey day, we celebrate the weekend after with a leftovers party.

As with any celebration, the question of “what to wear” always rises! For Friendsgiving, I usually keep it casual and relaxed.  On Saturday’s Friendsgiving on The Kitchen, it was fitting for my BFF Gretta Monahan to style my outfit.  (It’s really convenient having a best friend who is a killer stylist and owns clothing boutiques!!)  We both love plaid this time of year, so we chose cropped plaid jeans with a cute t-shirt and an army green jacket.  I love to be comfy, so I loved the glittery sneakers!
